After winning game one of their OJCLL playoff series 15-12 over the Peterborough Lakers, the Cornwall Celtics dropped the next two games, losing 12-4 and 12-11.
The teams were scheduled to play again late this afternoon in Cornwall. With a win, the Celtics would force a fifth and deciding game Wednesday in Peterborough.
The Clarington Shamrox await the winner, with the east division playoff title on the line.
Round two of the OJCLL playoffs are underway, with the Cornwall Celtics taking on the Peterborough Lakers. The Celts drew first blood on Sunday, with game two slated for Friday, July 14, at Cornwall's multi-sport complex, starting at 8pm.

The county's own Tyler Akins notched 7 points to add to his team- and league-leading total in the Ontario junior C lacrosse league, as his Cornwall Celtics prevailed last night 14-9.
The boys will be back in action this afternoon, at 2pm in Cornwall.

Tyler Akins is off to an impressive start in his junior 'C' lacrosse season with the Cornwall Celtics. Through four games, the team captain has 29 points – yes, you read that correctly. That's a 7.25 points per game pace.
One game, in particular, stands out: on April 30, the Celtics spanked Caledon 18-6. Akins recorded 15 points.
Cornwall has a .500 record, losers of two in a row.
This weekend, the boys will hit the floor twice at Cornwall's multi-sport complex, with games booked for May 13 at 7:30pm and May 14 at 2pm.
In addition to Akins, the squad includes a number of county athletes.
With the lacrosse season still several months away, the off-season work continues for the junior 'C' Cornwall Celtics club.
Recently, the Celtics recognized two of their long-time organizers, Vicki Akins and Tom Hughes.

The opening round of the junior C lacrosse playoffs has the Cornwall Celtics and Barrie Bombers tied at a game apiece, with the third match set for tonight at Cornwall's multi-sport complex. Game time is set for 8pm.
