Details about a major seizure of illicit drugs and weapons in Alexandria last week have been released.
Raids on homes and a business resulted in the seizure of
- 2260 methamphetamine pills (speed)
- 1064 Hydromorphone pills
- 27 Fentanyl patches
- 594 grams of marijuana
- 66 grams of hash
The estimated street value of drugs seized is $42,540
This also resulted in the seizure of a quantity of weapons and Canadian currency:
- 2 handguns
- 2 Conducted Energy Weapons (Tasers)
- Nunchucks
- Over $15,000 cash
- Multiple Long guns
- Ammunition
- 6 replica handguns
The following individuals were arrested and charged.
Pierre Larose, 59, of North Glengarry, was charged with
- Possession of a Controlled Substance for the purpose of Trafficking (11 counts)
- Unauthorized Possession of a weapon (2 counts)
- Careless storage of ammunition (3 counts)
- Public Mischief
- Fraud over $5,000 (5 counts)
- Possession of property obtained by crime (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Brigitte Martinson, 49, North Glengarry, was charged with
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (11 counts)
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon (2 counts)
- Careless storage of ammunition (2 counts)
- Possession of property obtained by crime (2 counts)
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Claude Lavigne, 53, North Glengarry, was charged with
- Possession of a controlled substance
- Production of a controlled substance
- Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance
- Fail to comply with conditions of an undertaking
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Luc Leroux, 52, North Glengarry, was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court April 4.
Christian Seguin, 34, North Glengarry, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court April 4.
Gordon Hodges, 31, North Glengarry, was charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. He was released and scheduled to appear in Alexandria court April 4.
Jonathan Carrierre, 21, North Glengarry, was charged with
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a controlled substance (2 counts)
- Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (2 counts)
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to probation order (2 counts)
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Rebecca Lacombe, 40, North Glengarry, Ontario was charged with
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Possession of a controlled substance (2 counts)
- Fail to comply with conditions of a probation order (4 counts)
- Fail to comply with conditions of a recognizance
She was held in custody pending a bail hearing at Cornwall Court.
Maxime Cater, 28, North Glengarry, was charged with
- Possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon (3 counts)
- Possession of property obtained by crime
The investigation continues.
"These arrests will have a significant impact in the small community of Alexandria," states Dean Canham Detective Sergeant of the Ontario Provincial Police Community Street Crime Unit.
