Coach Dominic Decoeur recently had his boys hockey team on the ice for some Sunday training, in preparation for the Tournoi Franco Ontarien, to be held next month in Niagara Falls.
The boys hockey team from Le Relais is skating in Alexandria today at their pre-Franco tournament, their final action before heading off to compete at the provincial Francophone event, the Tournoi Franco-Ontarien.

The Glengarry Sports Palace in Alexandria will see a full day of high school hockey action on Friday, as Le Relais hosts a pre-Franco boys hockey tournament. The event serves as a final warm-up for the area's French-language high schools, which will have teams competing early next month in the Tournoi Franco-Ontarien.

Le Relais' hockey team is on to the semifinals, set for Thursday morning. Today, Les Rapides closed out round-robin play with a tie, going on to prevail 3-1 in their quarter-final match.
At the Tournoi Franco-Ontarien, Le Relais' hockey team opened with a 4-2 this afternoon. The squad is scheduled to play its second round-robin match at 3:15pm today and then game number three on Wednesday morning.
Les Rapides are the defending gold medallists in their division, Petites Écoles AA.
