Bus driver charged

Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police has charged the driver of a double decker bus following an investigation into a collision that occurred on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township June 23, 2015.
Gary Graham, 64, of Lombardy, Ontario is charged with careless driving.
He was driving the bus that collided with the rear of a westbound tractor trailer east of Lancaster. Several passengers were injured, some seriously.

November 29, at approximately 7 p.m., Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police officers, assisted by OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and OPP Canine members responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at a residence on Tobin Street in Alexandria.
The home owners confronted a lone male in the residence upon their return from an outing. The suspect brandished a metal object and struck one of the occupants. She was taken to hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect is described as male, approximately 5’10, slim build, wearing dark clothing, gloves and mask.
