A 61-year-old woman from South Glengarry has been charged with failing to yield to traffic following a head-on collision on County Road 43 Monday. The woman was entering County Road 43 from County Road 20 when her car collided with a pick-up truck driven by a 55-year-old North Glengarry man, reports the Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police detachment. The woman was transported to hospital with serious non-life-threatening injuries. The man suffered minor injuries.
On the night of January 16-17, several vehicles were entered as they were parked at residences on Saphire Drive, Randy Street and Wendy Street in South Glengarry Township. Cash, wallets, GPS, sunglasses and gift cards were stolen. The Stormont-Dundas-Glengarry Ontario Provincial Police detachment is investigating.
