The Cornwall Prowlers senior 'A' hockey team got off to a bang-up start in their Oct. 20 home opener, taking a 4-0 lead on the Pontiac Comets. However, the visitors weren't about the roll over, battling back to hand Cornwall a 7-5 loss and even its record at 1-1.

Scoring for the Prowlers were Jonathan Labelle (2), Sebastien Thinel (2), and Dominic Leveille. County boys Pierre Luc Sabourin and Jesse Fontaine each picked up an assist.

Goaltender Josh Loney faced 56 shots, while Cornwall fired 57 at the Pontiac net.

Upcoming home games at Cornwall's multi-sport complex are set for Nov. 2 at 8:30 p.m. versus the Vaudreil Titans and Nov. 3 at 8 p.m. against Mont Laurier.
