Last Thursday night on home ice, the Cornwall Colts nabbed their second-straight victory, beating Navan 6-4.

The Colts scored three times in the first three minutes of the first period, en route to the win. Josh Barnes scored into an empty net with less than a minute to play to seal the victory. Barnes had two goals on the night. Konnor MacCormick and Justin McRae each had a goal and an assist. Tristan Poissant and Jeremy Quesnel also scored. Jacob Shankar chipped in with two assists.

The Grads outshot the Colts 36-31. Michael Carr stopped 22 of 23 shots in relief of starter Rico DiMatteo to earn the victory in goal.

Hardest Working Player honours went to Ethan Mulhearn. Three stars were first Konnor MacCormick (COR), second Justin McRae (COR), and third Jackson Arcan (NAV).

The next night, on the road in Brockville, the Colts were humbled 4-1. Jack Collins had the lone Cornwall tally, set up by Poissant and Tommy Tanner.
