Le Relais' Josée Lauzon, as a member of the Vipers, won gold at the Canadian broomball championships.

Sarah Carrière, who will graduate from Alexandria's le Relais this spring, has committed to attending Concordia University in Montreal, for her studies and to play as a member of the school's women's soccer team.

Today, March 22, Vankleek Hill hosted the annual 'Family of Schools' hockey tournament for Grade 7/8 kids from Pleasant Corners, Glengarry, Char-Lan, and Tagwi.

In HEO U18 hockey league playoff action, the Hawkesbury Hawks dispatched the Kemptville 73s in the quarter-final round, and we have the story in this week's edition of The Glengarry News.

Game one of the series saw defenceman and Alexandria native Felix Sauve score the lone goal for the Hawks, in a 1-1 tie.
